March Super Staff Spotlight
Marilyn Ross
If you’ve spent any time in the halls of Deary Elementary School or attended a Mustang athletic event, chances are you’ve encountered the kindness and dedication of Marilyn Ross. Mrs. Ross embodies what it means to be a true team player – "always smiling, always willing, and always putting others before herself".
As a paraeducator, Mrs. Ross provides incredible support to both students and classroom teachers. Her servant heart and never-ending willingness to help continues to make a lasting impact in the school community. Whether it's assisting in the classroom or lending a hand wherever needed, Mrs. Ross does it all with patience and grace.
Outside of school, Mrs. Ross and her husband have given so much to the community. As longtime foster parents, they have opened their home and hearts to children in need. They’ve also been active members of the Deary/Bovill Youth Sports Association for decades, helping shape local athletics and youth programs.
And, of course, if you've ever stopped by a Mustang concession stand, you’ve likely seen Mrs. Ross in action – keeping things running smoothly with a smile, even when lines are long, and young customers take their time deciding on the perfect treat! She and her husband are Mustang athletics MVPs, arriving early, staying late, and making sure every game day is a great one.

PowerSchool has posted itsNotice of Data Breach For Individuals in the United Statesto share some important information regarding the recent cybersecurity incident involving personal information belonging to current or former students and teachers of schools and districts like Whitepine Joint SD that use, or used, software called PowerSchool Student Information System (SIS). https://www.powerschool.com/security/sis-incident/notice-of-united-states-data-breach/. The PowerSchool Notice contains important instructions regarding enrolling in two year of complimentary identity protection services through Experian.
