December Super Staff Spotlight
Brigette Johnson
This December, we are excited to shine our Super Staff Spotlight on none other than Mrs. Brigette Johnson!
When you think of Mrs. Johnson, it’s impossible not to think of kindness, compassion, and an enormous heart for students. Mrs. Johnson has been part of the Whitepine Joint School District for four years and for the last three she has served as the Bovill Kindergarten teacher. Teaching kindergarten is no small task – but she makes it look effortless.
Speaking of Mrs. Johnson, a coworker said that “She develops a special bond with each and every one of her students and truly emphasizes building relationships and trust.” She strives to create a classroom where students feel safe and supported by placing a lot of focus on trust, connection, and belonging. “Her Kinders look to her for comfort and reassurance, and she is always there to console when sad, celebrate their wins, and provide them with whatever they are needing.”
In addition to her nurturing presence, Mrs. Johnson’s strong content knowledge shines through in her daily instruction. She thoughtfully plans engaging, hands-on learning opportunities and can often be found right alongside her students, learning and exploring with them. Her classroom is a place of joy, curiosity, and growth.
Mrs. Brigette Johnson is truly an asset to the Whitepine Joint School District, and we are incredibly fortunate to have her as part of our team. Thank you for being you, Mrs. Brigette. Your dedication to your students, your compassion, and your love for teaching have inspired everyone around you. 💙🍎

PowerSchool has posted itsNotice of Data Breach For Individuals in the United Statesto share some important information regarding the recent cybersecurity incident involving personal information belonging to current or former students and teachers of schools and districts like Whitepine Joint SD that use, or used, software called PowerSchool Student Information System (SIS). https://www.powerschool.com/security/sis-incident/notice-of-united-states-data-breach/. The PowerSchool Notice contains important instructions regarding enrolling in two year of complimentary identity protection services through Experian.
